Constitutional Law
Constitutional law is a collection of basic legal rules that govern the nation and state. The 1954 constitution, as the source of Indonesian law, is obliged to become the basic foundation of legislators in making laws. Laws must represent the 1945 Constitution. When there is a conflict between the Constitution and the Law, the Law must be tested materially in order to find articles that are contrary to the Constitution. Then, constitutional law has a scope for legal issues to be resolved at the Constitutional Court, including judicial reviews, disputes over election vote count results, disputes between state institutions and disputes over the dissolution of political parties.
